The Millennial generation will have a lot to say about the future of charity walks and runs. They want adventure, action and engagement. Particularly an event they can enjoy with friends and family. Runs such as The Color Run, The Undie Run or The Tough Mudder are all charitable events Gen Y is looking to participate in. Millennials are seeking the unique engagement factor and “smart nonprofits will think about how to create engaging events that attract Millennials and even Generation Z (the under -17 crowd) behind them.”
